I think one of the biggest things I hate about myself and all women is the fact that we IMMEDIATELY jump to conclusions without even bothering to find out if it’s the truth or not. We hear a rumor, we believe it. Then that gets passed along to all of your friends and so on.
Why is it that we don’t ask?
I’ve learned my lessons, plenty of them. I’ve always had the habit of jumping to conclusions whether it was true or not. But not anymore. There is a lot of people that seriously lie about so many things. It’s ridiculous. I’ve learned that you must always ask and figure out the situation. If a friend talked crap about you, don’t just believe it and assume he/she did. ASK them if they said it! It goes the other way around too. If you said something about someone don’t deny it because you’re afraid of confrontation. You could lose a friend because of a lie. Seriously, is it worth to lose a friend?
Is it that pride that holds us back from knowing or finding out the truth? Why are we afraid to ask? Because it might be the truth? It’s ALWAYS better to know the truth whether it’s hurtful or not. Why are we scared to find out if a friend backstabbed you? Or if your boyfriend cheated on you? Why? Regardless somehow someone gets hurt. Or why do we always or most of the time react to simple things? It’s just a simple question we need to ask.
Another issue. Okay we already overreacted, said some crazy stuff, and then someone tells you what really happened. What do you do now? Some women are way to prideful to admit they were wrong, just like men are too.
Now you try to fix a relationship. Well now you’re stuck in a sticky situation. The person you said crap about is hurt. Now they don’t want nothing to do with you, so you’re pretty much f*cked.
So in conclusion, maybe we should all, including women and men, we should just talk about it. Why put yourself in this kind of issues, when it just takes some simple conversations to resolve the problem.
